At Delhi World Public School, Shahjahanpur, Education for Life, Excellence in Education and all-round development are of prime importance. Quality education is provided to each and every child. DWPS believes that love for education should be developed for children in the initial years and conditions should be created for them to pursue a positive approach in life.

The curriculum of Delhi World Public School Shahjahanpur adheres to the National Curriculum Framework 2005 (NCF 2005) and the CBSE curriculum. We believe that the classroom experiences of the children are to be organized in a manner that permits them to construct knowledge in consonance with the child’s nature and context, thus providing equal learning opportunities for all children. Teaching aims at enhancing the child’s innate desire and acumen to learn.

Pre Primary and Early Primary School (Nursery to Grade II)

At the Pre-Primary and early Primary years, the objective is to facilitate learning by creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for them to learn joyfully. Teaching Pedagogy is child centric and activity oriented using numerous teaching aids: Power Point, flashcards, pictures, puppets, actual objects, storytelling, dramatization and role play, etc. The endeavor is to involve the children in the discussions, gently guiding them, eliciting the right answers.

Primary School (Grade III to V)

THE MIDDLE SECTION- (VI-VIII)

The middle section aims to give a quantum jump to the knowledge assimilated in the foundation years and to further strengthen the basics of the students. Structured lesson plans are prepared to impart the knowledge and application in the subjects. These are supplemented with worksheets, smart boards and activities such as projects, experiments, assignments, dramatization etc. The subjects included in the curriculum in the middle section are:
